Tables folder not found

Technical code : TABLES_DIR_NOT_FOUND

What it means

There's nothing to scan — no Tables folder was found where you pointed the scanner.

Why it happens

A real Visual Pinball install always has a Tables folder somewhere under its root — without one, there's nothing for any other check to look at.

How Pincab Toolbox detects it

The free scanner checks the following:

No folder literally named Tables could be located anywhere under the selected root.

What to do

Pincab Toolbox could not find your tables folder — the one holding your .vpx files.

  1. First check you scanned the right folder: pick the folder that CONTAINS "Tables", not the "Tables" folder itself.
  2. Open your Visual Pinball folder and check a "Tables" subfolder exists, with your .vpx files inside.
  3. If your tables live elsewhere, open PinUP Popper, go to the VPX emulator settings, and note the path shown there.
  4. Run the Pincab Toolbox scan again on that folder.
  5. If the folder exists but stays invisible, check it is not a broken folder shortcut: Pincab Toolbox would report that on another line.
