Table script unreadable
What it means
This table gets skipped from most checks — the scanner couldn't even read its script.
Why it happens
Every table's script has to be read and parsed before deeper checks (ROM usage, physics) can run — this one either failed to read or came back with no script content at all.
How Pincab Toolbox detects it
Reading and parsing this .vpx file's script recorded an error, or returned nothing.
What to do
Pincab Toolbox cannot read this table's script. The file is probably damaged: an interrupted download, a failed copy, or a failing disk.
- Try opening the table in Visual Pinball. If VPX refuses too, the file really is damaged and there is nothing inside to repair.
- Rename the .vpx by adding ".broken" at the end, rather than deleting it.
- Re-download the table from wherever you got it.
- Compare the new file's size with the old one: a big difference confirms the first download was incomplete.
- If this happens on several tables, it is not the download: check the disk with Windows' own tool (right-click the drive, Properties, Tools, Check).
- Run a new scan.
