PinballY game whose table file is gone

Technical code : PINBALLY_GAME_FILE_MISSING

What it means

These games are in the frontend's list, but their table file is not in the system's tables folder: they may not start.

Why it happens

The table files were renamed, moved or deleted after the list was made, or the list spells a file name differently from the file on disk.

How to fix it

Put the table files back in that folder, or correct the file names in PinballY's game list for this system.

How Pincab Toolbox detects it

The free scanner checks the following:

The scan reads PinballY's settings and, for each enabled system, its game lists (the .xml files of the system's database folder). It looks for the table file of each enabled game in the system's tables folder, sub-folders included, with the system's file extension. It says nothing if none of the games is found there.

Check your own pincab

Pincab Toolbox is a free Windows scanner for Visual Pinball X and PinUP Popper. It finds and explains problems like this one. No account, no telemetry.
