Folder or program written in a Popper launch script missing
What it means
A line of this emulator's launch script cannot work as written. Depending on the line, a helper program (force feedback, DMD display…) or the game itself does not start.
Why it happens
A launch script can go to a folder (cd "C:\…") or start a program by its full path. These paths are written by hand in the script, stored in PinUP Popper's database: they often still name where things were on another PC, or before a folder was moved, renamed or reinstalled.
How Pincab Toolbox detects it
The emulator is visible and has at least one visible game; a line of its script outside comments is cd "X:\folder" (or cd /d) or START "" "X:\folder\program.exe", between quotes, without […] or %…%; the drive is there, and the folder does not exist, or the program started by its name on the next command is neither in that folder nor in the PATH, or the program written with its full path does not exist. A folder already reported among the emulator's folders is not repeated.
