Font file missing
What it means
One or more of your tables ask for a font this scan could not find.
Why it happens
Some table scripts load a specific .ttf font for the scoreboard or DMD. This check only reads what the script literally names — it never guesses a name — and checks whether a file with that name exists anywhere under this install.
How Pincab Toolbox detects it
At least one table's script references a specific .ttf file name, and no file with that name was found under the scanned root.
What to do
A table asks for a font that is not installed on this machine. Depending on the table, scores or text render wrong, or the table crashes while loading.
- Note the exact font name given in the Pincab Toolbox scan result.
- The font almost always ships WITH the table, in the original archive. Go back to the table download: look for a .ttf or .otf file, or a "fonts" folder.
- If you have it: right-click the .ttf, then "Install for all users". That option specifically, not just "Install": otherwise the font is invisible when a table starts from PinUP Popper.
- If you do not have it, go back to the table's download page: the author almost always says which font to use and where to get it.
- Restart PinUP Popper after installing.
- Run a new scan.
